He is recognized by the Mexican Board of General Surgery, and Mexican Board of Gastroenterology as a Digestive Surgeon. Also, Laparoscopic Surgeon active member of Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery. Former President of the Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery (2004-2005), and founding member and former President of the Mexican Society of Obesity Surgery. Active member of the IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity).

Dr. Cerón has experience in obesity surgery performing surgeries with greater acceptance worldwide for its results such as: gastric bypass, gastrectomy, laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding and currently laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. He also is certified to perform laparoscopic surgery adjustable gastric banding for the Hospital Sauvergarde Clinnique of Lyon France.

I'm a 37 year old married mother of five. I've been battling obesity since I had my first child. I first heard of Dr. Ceron from a couple of friends from Arkansas that visited him in Cancun to have a Gastric Sleeve, from the time they both got back I began to see their transformation to now become of a normal and healthy weight. I decided to follow their footsteps and booked a Gastric Sleeve through Bariatric Mexico the doctors coordinators. They helped me though out the whole process and now I’ve lost 60 lbs. I can’t believe it was that simple to make this journey. The hardest part was the pre-operative diet but everything else was like nothing happened. Thank you guys for helping me change my life.

"Hi, my name is Malcolm from West Virginia. I found Doctor Fernando Ceron on the internet while looking at Cancun for a vacation with the family in Cancun Mexico. I’ve never thought about having weight loss surgery but decided to give it a thought and after careful consideration with my wife, I decided to book a Gastric sleeve with the doctor while I went to Cancun on Vacation with my family and kids. All I have to say is “Two thumbs up for Dr. Fernando Ceron”. I’ve Lost 105 lbs to date. I had surgery with the doctor in Cancun in 2012 and it was the best decision ever made.
